I volunteered my helping hands today for breakfast at the Genesis Shelter. Ms. Deborah asked me and I humbly obliged her needs. Ms. Deborah is truly a blessing to all she comes across and from the first moment I met her I liked her, she is warm kind and just lovable. The Genesis Shelter is filled with mothers and their children in transition looking for work and a home. I met Ms. Tamara during this process she volunteered today as well and she is from Tennessee. These women are great and I enjoyed every minute of this morning. I met a little girl named Ki as I was leaving the building and she said she was ready to go she looked so sad but when I asked her if I could take her picture she had the biggest smile on her face. I think a picture is worth a thousand words and Ki's face said it all. Thank you @BlackGirlsRock for the TShirts you Rock.
